Gewehr 98 Sniper
The Gewehr 98 Sniper is a bolt-action rifle in Battlefield 1 that can only be acquired by using the Scout class. It has maximum damage and precision. The Gewehr is easy-to-use and has a lower fire-rate than the Russian 1895 Sniper, which comes in 2nd. It is particularly good for counter-sniping due to this, but can only hold up to 5 bullets; the same amount of ammunition as the Russian 1895 Sniper, except it has 5 more bullets in total. Like the 1895 Sniper, it has a bipod and a telescopic sight. These 2 guns hardly compare. If you are new to Battlefield 1, because these two snipers are so similar, it'd be easier to just get the 1895 and get the Gewehr later. You can shoot the Gewehr faster, but not by much. The best way to choose between each one is by looking at the damage drop between each sniper and figuring out which one will suit your needs best!
